Walking distance from Lincoln Hall (1.3 mi, about 25-30 min). Continue straight on W Green St. until you reach the Illini Union (you should pass by the First Presbyterian Church of Urbana on your right, about 1/3 of the way there). You know you're going the right way if you see a Circle K and the "University of Illinois, Founded 1867" on the brick wall (with the big I insignias!) at the same intersection (Green & Lincoln); keep going straight (due north) until you reach the Union.
50E Green Saturday bus service to Illini Union, beginning 5:53 AM in ~30-minute intervals. We recommend the 7:36 bus from Lincoln Square (the bus stop is right outside of the Lincoln Square Garage; it's right near the Champaign City Courthouse. If you see the Lincoln Square parking garage, cross the street and make a left, then a right) to arrive at Illini Union around 7:41 AM, before check-in/same-day registration (Lincoln Hall) opens at 8 AM.
